About the Role\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer serving a wide range of industrial sectors across the UK.
\nThis is a customer-facing role combining technical expertise with consultative sales. You'll work closely with industrial customers to understand their operational requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend effective lubrication and fluid management solutions that enhance equipment performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities\n- \n

Develop and grow relationships with both new and existing industrial customers.

Identify business opportunities through a consultative, solution-focused sales approach.

Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and product recommendations.
\n - \n
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training.
\n - \n
Conduct site surveys to identify equipment reliability and performance improvements.
\n - \n
Recommend lubrication and fluid management solutions tailored to customer needs.
\n - \n
Interpret oil analysis reports and provide practical recommendations.
\n - \n
Support product trials, commissioning, and implementation activities.
\n - \n
Investigate equipment issues and recommend corrective actions where required.
\n - \n
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline activity.
\n - \n
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
\n - \n
Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety procedures.

We're looking for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for developing customer relationships.
\nYou will ideally have:

Experience in technical sales, application engineering, or industrial maintenance.

Strong mechanical or engineering knowledge.
\n - \n
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
\n - \n
A consultative and commercially focused approach to sales.

A full UK Driving Licence and the flexibility to travel throughout the UK.

The following would be advantageous:

A qualification in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.

Experience with lubricants, fluid management, or condition monitoring.

Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering, or heavy industry.
