Job Purpose:

\n

As Bodyshop Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the department — ensuring vehicles are repaired to the highest standards, customers receive outstanding service, and the business meets its financial targets.

\n

You will:

  • Lead and motivate a team of technicians, painters and estimators
  • \n
  • Manage workflow to ensure efficient, on-time repairs
  • \n
  • Liaise with customers and insurance companies
  • \n
  • Oversee estimates, costs and profitability
  • \n
  • Ensure manufacturer and health & safety compliance
  • \n
  • Drive quality standards and customer satisfaction
  • \n

Role Requirements

\n

Essential

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience in a Body Shop leadership role
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes and estimating
  • \n
  • Excellent people management skills
  • \n
  • A customer-focused approach
  • \n
  • Commercial awareness and ability to manage KPIs
  • \n
  • Experience working with insurers and accident management companies
  • \n
\n

Desirable

\n
    \n
  • ATA/VDA accreditation would be an advantage
  • \n
  • A full driving licence with no more than six points (due to insurance purposes)
  • \n
  • Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle legislation, consumer legislation and trade practices.
  • \n
  • Technical and engineering qualifications.
  • \n
