Deputy Manager - Supported Accommodation

Hours: 24 - 32 hours per week ( 3 - 4 days a week)

Salary: £160 - £185 a day (DOE)

Location: Derby, Derbyshire

We are looking for a passionate and committed part time Deputy Manager to join our organisation and support the delivery of outstanding care.

The role is based in Derby, however the client has a service in Stoke and therefore the successful candidate must be prepared to work across both sites to suit business needs.

As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to support the day-to-day running of the home. You will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining high standards, and ensuring the best possible care for young people.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and supervising staff teams
\n
• Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
\n
• Promoting a safe, structured, and child-focused environment
\n
• Contributing to care planning and development of young people
\n
• Deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager
\n

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supported accommodation
\n
• At least 1 year of experience supervising staff
\n
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
\n
• Level 3 in Residential Childcare (required)
\n
• Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards)
\n
• Full UK driving licence
