Class 2 Delivery Driver – Temporary Ongoing Location: Rugby Gateway Job Type: Temporary Ongoing Pay Rate:£17.31 per hour | £25.97 per hour after 9.6 hours worked (Time and a Half)Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Delivery Driver to join a leading logistics company based at Rugby Gateway. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity offering regular work, weekly pay, and the potential for a long-term placement.You'll be responsible for delivering goods to retail stores nationwide, completing collections when required, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.The Role\n

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to retail stores across the UK.
\n
• Carry out collections as required.
\n
• Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.
\n
• Load and unload vehicles in line with health and safety procedures.
\n
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
\n
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs where required.
\n
• Adhere to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport legislation.
\n
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at every delivery point.
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
\n
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card.
\n
• Previous Class 2 multi-drop experience is desirable.
\n
• Good knowledge of UK road networks.
\n
• Physically fit, as the role involves loading and unloading.
\n
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused with excellent time management skills.
\n
