Team Leader/Manager - Locality West (Generic Adult Social Care) - Leicester City Council

Our client, Leicester City Council, is seeking an agency Team Leader/Manager for its Locality Service in adult social care.

This is a full-time post, likely to last 3 months initially.

Paid at £42 per hour (umbrella).

The role will involve the following:

• Managing a generic/locality service for adults
\n
• The team mainly works with older adults or adults with a physical disability, along with issues such as substance misuse, homelessness etc.
\n
• Supervising and supporting social workers
\n
• Managing caseloads and performance
\n
• Safeguarding and risk management
\n
• Quality assurance
\n
• This role will be hybrid with a minimum requirement to come to the office 2 days per week to interact and provide 1:1 to the staff and team meeting
\n

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
\n
• Fully Social Work England registered
\n
• Must be an experienced manager in statutory adult social care
\n
• Must have significant experience of locality work such as complex casework, safeguarding, MCA, best interest decisions, court work etc.
\n
