HR Officer - Bath - £30,000 - £40,000

Well Placed HR are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly respected organisation within the education sector to recruit a HR Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking school environment, based in bath.

\n

This is a stand-alone role, offered on a full-time (all year-round) and permanent basis, with hybrid working options to be discussed after a settling in period.

\n

With a headcount of 250, and working closely with senior leadership, this varied and hands-on position offers the chance to play a key part in delivering a high-quality HR service across the school.

\n

Key Duties to include:

\n

- Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on policies and procedures

\n

- Providing HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including induction and probation processes

\n

- Supporting end-to-end recruitment processes, including onboarding and recruitment checks

\n

- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR system data in line with data protection requirements

\n

- Supporting payroll processes by preparing and submitting accurate employee data and changes

\n

- Assisting with absence management processes, including tracking, reporting and supporting managers

\n

- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of HR services

\n

This role would suit someone with:

\n

- CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent experience)

\n

- Previous experience working in a HR or administrative role

\n

- An education background preferably, though not essentially

\n

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information

\n

- Good working knowledge of HR processes and compliance requirements

\n

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

\n

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships

\n

- A pro-active and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently

\n
