What you'll be doing:

As a Machine Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring our production lines run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up, operating and monitoring production machinery.
\n
• Ensuring machines are running efficiently and achieving production targets.
\n
• Carrying out basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting minor issues.
\n
• Monitoring product quality throughout the production process.
\n
• Ensuring products are produced in line with customer specifications and quality standards.
\n
• Completing routine machine checks and reporting any faults or breakdowns.
\n
• Working closely with Production Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Engineers to minimise downtime.
\n
• Following all Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP and GMP procedures.
\n
• Ensuring production records and paperwork are completed accurately.
\n
• Supporting changeovers between production runs, including machine cleaning and preparation.
\n
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards within the production area.
\n
• Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced manufacturing team.
\n
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and safety within your area.
\n

What we're looking for:

Full training will be provided; however, experience in a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous.

• Have previous experience operating machinery or working within a manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential).

• Have a strong awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
\n
• Can work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
\n
• Have good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
\n
• Are proactive and able to identify and resolve minor issues.
\n
• Can follow procedures and work instructions accurately.
\n
• Have good communication skills and work well as part of a team.
\n
• Are reliable, motivated and willing to learn new skills.
\n
