\nWe are currently recruiting for experienced Business Development Executive's who will support the growth of the firm across all relevant Business Development activities, working with the BD Managers to identify opportunities, enhance client relationships, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen the firm’s profile within the insurance market.
\nAs an experienced Business Development Executive you will help coordinate BD initiatives, produce high-quality supporting materials, manage administrative elements of client development, and contribute to the smooth running of the team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their Business Development career who has gained experience in a law firm environment and is looking to develop specialist expertise within the insurance claims sector.
\nWhat You’ll be doing:
\nAs a Business Development Executive, you will:

- Support to BD Managers \n
Assist BD Managers with planning and delivering business development plans and growth initiatives.
\nPrepare meeting packs, client background notes, agendas, and follow-up actions.
\nHelp maintain and update key client documentation, including profiles, service descriptions, and value propositions and capability documents/proposals.
\n- \n
- Pitch, Tender & Proposal Support \n
Coordinate the administrative aspects of tenders, RFIs, and panel submissions.
\nDraft basic sections of proposals (e.g., team CVs, firm overviews, boilerplate content).
\nGather evidence, MI, case studies, and service examples from fee-earners.
\nEnsure documents are formatted, branded, and submitted on time.

- CRM & Data Management \n
Update pipelines, activity logs, and internal dashboards for BD Managers.
\nTrack incoming opportunities and support reporting to senior stakeholders.
\n- \n
- Marketing, Events & Campaigns \n
Coordinate logistics for seminars, webinars, client events, and insurance industry conferences.
\nLiaise with Marketing to support the delivery of targeted email campaigns, newsletters, and client alerts.
\nAssist with creating basic content drafts or collating contributions from fee-earners.

- Market & Client Research \n
Prepare desk-research on insurer clients, competitors, and developments in the insurance claims landscape.
\nMonitor relevant news, legal updates, and industry trends to support BD Managers’ planning.

- Internal Coordination \n
Work with legal teams, Operations, and Marketing to ensure BD tasks are delivered efficiently.
\nHelp maintain updated credentials, case studies, and practice-level BD materials.
\nAssist with collating client feedback and contributing insight for continuous improvement.
\nWhat You’ll Need?
\nEssential
\nAt least 12 months’ experience working in a law firm, ideally exposure to insurance claims, litigation, or commercial BD/marketing.
\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
\nExcellent written communication and document-production skills.
\nConfident using CRM systems and Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
\nStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
\nA proactive, "hands-on" approach with a service-oriented mindset.
\nDesirable
\nExperience supporting tenders, bids, or panel reviews.
\nUnderstanding of the insurance claims sector and insurer client expectations.
\nBasic familiarity with MI, performance reporting, or client feedback processes.
\nExperience supporting across client events.
\nPersonal Attributes
