Interim Technical Accountant / Group Reporting AccountantBath | 3-4-Month Contract | Competitive Day RateWe're partnering with a highly regarded organisation in Bath that is seeking an experienced Interim Technical Accountant / Group Reporting Accountant to support the finance team during a particularly busy period.This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing finance function, gain exposure to a well-known business, and make an immediate impact in a role offering genuine variety and visibility across the organisation.The OpportunityWorking closely with the Group Reporting Lead, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting a range of technical accounting and statutory reporting activities.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly and year-end group consolidations
    • \n
  • Supporting statutory accounts preparation and reporting requirements
    • \n
  • Providing technical accounting expertise, particularly around IFRS
    • \n
  • Assisting with year-end audit processes and external audit queries
    • \n
  • Working collaboratively with finance teams across multiple business units
    • \n
  • Supporting ad hoc reporting, analysis and finance projects as required
    • \n

About YouWe're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA preferred) with:

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and IFRS expertise
    • \n
  • Previous group reporting and consolidation experience
    • \n
  • Experience supporting statutory reporting and audit processes
    • \n
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
    • \n
  • The ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
    • \n
