Our client, a reputable and long-established independent specialist in Nottingham, is seeking an experienced Classic Car Technician to join their skilled workshop team. Duties of a Classic Car Technician:\n

\n
• Servicing, maintenance, and repairs to exacting standards
\n
• Rebuilding engines and major mechanical components
\n
• Performing suspension and brake overhauls
\n
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately as a Classic Car Technician
\n
• Using modern diagnostic equipment along with technical manuals
\n
• Working efficiently on both vintage and contemporary luxury vehicles
\n
• Completing detailed job cards, timesheets, and workshop documentation
\n
• Ensuring high-quality workmanship within set timeframes
\n

Requirements of a Classic Car Technician:\n

\n
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
\n
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician
\n
• Proven experience in engine rebuilding and mechanical assembly
\n
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
\n
• Basic engineering knowledge
\n
• Electrical diagnostics experience is desirable
\n
• Genuine interest in vintage, classic, and modern vehicles
\n
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
\n
• Own tools
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence with no endorsements
\n
