Accounts Assistant (Temporary)

Airdrie | Fully Office Based | £30k35 Hours Per Week | Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pmImmediate Start | Weekly Temporary Assignment with Potential to move to a 12-Month FTC

Our client, a well-established and growing construction business based in the Airdrie area, is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team on a temporary basis.

This is initially a week-to-week temporary assignment, however there is genuine potential for the role to develop into a 12-month fixed-term contract for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
\n
• Raising sales invoices
\n
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
\n
• Supplier statement reconciliations
\n
• Raising purchase orders (POs)
\n
• Filing and maintaining accurate financial records
\n
• Assisting with general finance and administrative duties as required
\n
• Supporting the wider finance team during busy periods
\n

Candidate Requirements:

\n
• Previous experience working in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
\n
• Essential experience using Sage
\n
• Strong invoice processing and reconciliation experience
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively
\n
• Confident working within a fast-paced environment
\n
• Good communication skills and a professional approach
\n
