QHSE Engineer
\nSalary Circa £40,000 p.a.

\nThis is an exciting role working for a growing business and therefore there is good opportunities to progress. The right candidate will have worked in the Automotive or Aerospace industries previously in a Quality capacity.
\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:
\n- \n
- Production of PPAP’s, ISIR’s & other customer specific documentation \n
- Maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System - managing annual quality audit and systems \n
- Create FMEA, Control plans, PSW, IMDS \n
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions \n
- Carry out inspections (first-off, last-off, and in-process checks) \n
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and tolerances \n
- Support quality requirements like APQP, ISIR, PSW and 8D’s \n
- Work with production teams to reduce defects and waste \n
- Keep H&S system up to date and support external advisors \n
- Conduct risk assessments and review safe working practices \n
- Ensure compliance with UK health and safety regulations \n
- Monitor safe operation of machinery and equipment \n
- Investigate accidents and implement preventative measures \n
- Carry out internal audits for quality and safety \n
- Support external and customer audits \n
- Create and update procedures, work instructions, and records \n
- Train staff on quality standards and health & safety procedures \n
- Drive continuous improvement using root cause analysis and problem-solving tools \n
- Producing workflow processes for new product introduction \n
THE CANDIDATE:
\n- \n
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment \n
- Conversant with the ISO 9001 systems and procedures \n
- CMM experience \n
- IOSH Qualification (NEBOSH desirable but not essential) \n
- Ability to work to tight deadlines \n
- Ability to work on own initiative \n
- Good problem-solving skills \n
- Able to converse with customers regarding requirements / NPI \n
Salary Circa £40,000 p.a.
\nPermanent role
\nFour day week – Monday to Thursday 41 hours per week - 7.45am to 6.00pm, (times can be flexible)
\n27 days annual including Bank Holidays
