Our client, a Greater Manchester Council is seeking a Adults Social Worker to join their MASH Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

\n
    \n
  • Conduct safeguarding enquiries and assessments for adults at risk.
  • \n
  • Triage and screen incoming referrals within the Adult MASH service.
  • \n
  • Gather, analyse and share information from partner agencies to inform decision-making.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with Police, Health, Housing and other statutory partners.
  • \n
  • Assess risk and determine appropriate safeguarding interventions.
  • \n
  • Apply relevant legislation including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Mental Health Act.
  • \n
  • Participate in multi-agency meetings, strategy discussions and safeguarding reviews.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive case records.
  • \n
  • Manage a busy caseload while meeting statutory timescales and service requirements.
  • \n
  • Promote positive outcomes, independence and wellbeing for vulnerable adults.
  • \n
  • Provide professional recommendations and support effective safeguarding plans.
  • \n
  • Ensure all practice is person-centred, strengths-based and compliant with local authority policies.
  • \n

Requirements of this role:

\n
    \n
  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • \n
  • Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
  • \n
