Job Description: Complex Carer (MND) – S8 Area

Role Summary

Female Complex Carer required to support a gentleman with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) with limited mobility. The client is fully verbal and requires hands-on, clinically informed care with specialised equipment and support.

Clinical & Care Responsibilities (Clinical Needs)

The role includes supporting with:

• NIV (Non-Invasive Ventilation)
\n
• PEG care (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
\n
• Cough assist
\n
• Medication administration
\n
• Catheter care
\n
• MPS
\n
• BLS
\n

Experience Requirements

\n
• Minimum 12 months of UK care experience
\n
• No sponsorship required / no sponsorship available
\n

Shift Pattern

\n
• Monday – Sunday
\n
• Days: 9am – 9pm
\n
• Waking nights: 9pm – 9am
\n

Training & Induction

\n
• Mandatory clinical training with the company nurse
\n
• Shadow shifts required this week prior to independent shifts
\n

Key Skills & Attributes

\n
• Confidence with complex care and clinical support
\n
• Ability to follow care plans and NIV/PEG/cough assist procedures as trained
\n
• Clear communication with a fully verbal client
\n
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work across 7 days
\n
