Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Hatfield, Doncaster

Salary: £51,000 - £55,000

Shift: Nights

I'm working with a fast-paced, expanding producer looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineers to join their growing team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of production equipment, including fault finding, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and reliably. You'll also support continuous improvement projects, machinery upgrades, and equipment installations, working closely with production teams to maximise performance and minimise downtime.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
\n
• Manufacturing or production background.
\n
• Strong fault-finding skills.
\n
• PPM and reactive maintenance experience.
\n

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Experience with working with belts, bearings, pulleys, shafts, gearboxes, chains, pumps, hydraulics.
\n
• Multi-skilled engineering experience.
\n
• PLC fault-finding knowledge.
\n
• Continuous improvement experience.
\n
