Our client, a Greater Manchester Council is seeking a Children's Social Worker to join their MASH Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

    \n
  • Triaging incoming safeguarding referrals and completing initial risk assessments to determine required intervention levels.
  • \n
  • Gathering and analysing information from key partner agencies including health, education, police, and early help.
  • \n
  • Applying local threshold guidance to decide pathways such as Level 2, 3 or 4 intervention, early help, statutory action, or signposting.
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate, confidential records in line with GDPR and statutory safeguarding procedures.
  • \n
  • Offering safeguarding advice and consultation to multi-agency professionals.
  • \n
  • Participating in multi-agency strategy discussions to support coordinated safeguarding responses.
  • \n
  • Ensuring timely decision-making that prioritises the safety and welfare of children and young people.
  • \n

Requirements of this role:

    \n
  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • \n
  • Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
  • \n
