Client Accounts Manager (Qualified)Birmingham Hybrid Working £50,000 - £60,000 + Excellent BenefitsAre you looking for a role where you can genuinely influence the direction of a growing accountancy practice, rather than simply reviewing accounts and moving onto the next file? We're working exclusively with a highly regarded independent accountancy practice that's looking to appoint an experienced Client Accounts Manager to play a pivotal role in the delivery of accounts, tax and advisory services.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who enjoys mentoring others, reviewing work to a high standard and building trusted relationships with clients.The RoleYou'll take ownership of the review process across a varied client portfolio, ensuring work is delivered accurately, efficiently and on time, while supporting the wider team with technical guidance and day-to-day leadership. Alongside managing workflow, you'll also gain exposure to tax advisory projects, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience beyond compliance.Key Responsibilities\n

  • Review statutory accounts and a range of business and personal tax returns
  • \n
  • Oversee quality control across the accounts and tax function
  • \n
  • Manage workflow, deadlines and team capacity
  • \n
  • Mentor and support junior members of the team
  • \n
  • Act as a technical point of contact for colleagues
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and advice
  • \n
  • Assist with tax planning and advisory projects
  • \n
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and client delivery
  • \n
About YouWe're keen to speak with ACA or ACCA qualified accountants who have developed their career within practice and are confident reviewing accounts and tax work.You'll ideally bring:\n

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and UK taxation
  • \n
  • Experience reviewing the work of others
  • \n
  • Previous responsibility for managing client portfolios
  • \n
  • A collaborative leadership style with a genuine interest in developing people
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • \n
  • A proactive approach and desire to improve processes
  • \n
