FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative – Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing full-time work, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an FLT Driver, Reach Truck Driver, Counterbalance Driver, Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, or LLOP Driver.

Shifts

• Sunday to Thursday • Approx. 17:00 – 02:30 • Immediate starts available

Rates of Pay

• £13.00 per hour for the first 12 weeks • Increasing to £13.89 per hour from week 13 onwards

Day-to-Day Duties

As an FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Voice picking customer orders accurately • Packing products ready for dispatch • Pallet wrapping and securing goods for transport • Operating an LLOP within the warehouse • Operating an FLT when required • Loading and unloading vehicles • Supporting general warehouse duties to ensure smooth operations • Manual handling of products weighing approximately 20–30kg • Maintaining stock accuracy and keeping warehouse areas organised • Following all health and safety procedures and company policies

Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous warehouse experience within a fast-paced environment • A valid Counterbalance or Reach Truck FLT licence • In-house FLT licences or RTITB qualifications accepted with relevant FLT experience • Voice picking experience is highly desirable • LLOP experience is advantageous • The ability to carry out manual handling duties involving products weighing 20–30kg • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working within a distribution or logistics warehouse • Experience operating warehouse MHE equipment in a busy environment

Training Provided

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
