Job Description
Temporary to Permanent Administration & Inventory Controller
\nGuisborough – North Yorkshire
\n£27,000 – 40 hours per week, office-based.

\nOur client is looking for an organised and detailed-orientated office administrator and
\ninventory controller to support the smooth day-to-day running of their Guisborough
\noffice and inventory operations.
\nOffice Administration Duties:

- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence \n
- Maintain accurate filing systems, records, and company documentation \n
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and business correspondence. \n
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate office activities. \n
- Order office supplies and monitor office resource requirements. \n
- Support management with general administrative tasks and projects. \n
- Assist with data entry and maintaining company databases. \n
Inventory Control Duties:

- Monitor stock levels and ensure inventory records are accurate. \n
- Receive, check, and record incoming deliveries in Inflow system. \n
- Ensure all goods received at Guisborough are checked and booked into Inflow promptly. \n
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits. \n
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies. \n
- Process and record all stock movements, transfers, and adjustments within Inflow, ensuring inventory records remain accurate across both Guisborough and Rugby locations.) \n
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages, and returns. \n
- Process supplier returns and maintain associated documentation and records. \n
- Generate inventory and stock performance reports. \n
- Maintain organised storage areas and ensure stock is correctly labelled. \n
- Support purchasing activities by identifying replenishment requirements. \n
Calibration and Equipment Control:
\n- \n
- Maintain calibration equipment records and ensure calibration updates are completed. \n
- Coordinate calibration activities and maintain records of calibration due dates, certificates and equipment status. \n
Skills:
\nPrevious experience in office administration, inventory control, or a similar role.
\nStrong organisational and time-management skills.
\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.
\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
