\nPratap Partnership is excited to present an opportunity for a experienced Senior Buyer to join a leading organisation based in Leeds, with a flexible hours working model and one day per week from home, and 2 days in the Castleford office. This contract role is for two years, ideal for professionals looking to make an impact within a dynamic procurement team.

About the Role:
\n- \n
- Work within a large, established procurement team dedicated to sourcing services for engineering, infrastructure projects, and subcontractor services. \n
- Lead strategic procurement processes and category management activities, contributing significantly to the company's procurement strategy. \n
- Support purchase to pay transformation initiatives, improving efficiency and compliance in procurement operations. \n
- Manage high-value contracts with spend levels reaching into multi-million-pound territories, ensuring value for money and risk mitigation. \n
- Operate in a regulated procurement environment, adhering to industry standards and compliance requirements. \n
Candidate Requirements:
\n- \n
- Previous experience as a Senior Buyer, Procurement Specialist, or in a similar purchasing role. \n
- Experience setting up frameworks via RFQs, tenders and similar models, ideally in end-to-end procurement \n
- Proven track record managing large-scale contracts and high procurement spend (£multi-million). \n
- Experience in strategic procurement, category management, or related disciplines. \n
- Preferrably experience working within regulated environments, ensuring adherence to procurement standards and compliance. \n
