An established and respected law firm in Reading is seeking a talented Conveyancing Solicitor to join its thriving Residential Property department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated solicitor to handle a varied caseload of high-quality residential conveyancing matters while benefiting from excellent career progression, strong administrative support, and a loyal client base.

The firm has built an excellent reputation for client service and continues to experience significant growth across its property team. As a result, they are looking to appoint a solicitor who can contribute to the ongoing success of the department and develop long-term relationships with clients and referrers.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
\n
• Remortgages
\n
• Transfers of equity
\n
• New build purchases
\n
• Shared ownership transactions
\n
• Right to Buy matters
\n
• Unregistered land transactions
\n
• Help to Buy matters
\n
• Property refinancing transactions
\n

You will also:

\n
• Provide exceptional client care throughout the conveyancing process
\n
• Develop relationships with estate agents, brokers and other referrers
\n
• Ensure files are managed efficiently and in compliance with SRA requirements
\n
• Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
\n
• Contribute to the continued growth of the Residential Property department
\n

Requirements

\n
• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
\n
• NQ Solicitors through to Senior Solicitors encouraged to apply
\n
• Experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload
\n
• Strong technical knowledge of residential property law
\n
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
\n
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
\n
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
\n
