- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with an hour lunch (Part Time considered) \n

\nWe are excited to offer a position at a leading law firm that is seeking a Legal Secretary to support a commercial property Fee Earner due to expansion of workload.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Document Preparation: Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports. \n
- File Management: Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible. \n
- Client Communication: Handle client inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage correspondence. \n
- Diary Management: Manage calendars for solicitors, including scheduling meetings. \n
- Audio Typing: Transcribe dictations and audio recordings accurately and efficiently. \n
- Billing and Invoicing: Assist with the preparation of bills and invoices, ensuring timely and accurate processing. \n
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, filing, and data entry. \n
- Legal Applications: Complete land registry applications and SDLT returns. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in commercial or residential property. \n
- Preferred: Proficiency in audio typing with a high level of accuracy and speed. \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal practice management software. \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. \n
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work. \n
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently. \n
