Job Role of the Shift Production Manager\nA fantastic opportunity has arisen for two experienced Shift Production Managers to join a high-volume, fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site within the Blackpool area. This is a critical leadership role within a 24/7 production environment where you will be responsible for delivering the production plan while ensuring safety, performance, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
\nYou will be managing between 30-100 employees across two production lines, taking full ownership of shift performance, people management, and operational output. This role is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-moving manufacturing environment and is passionate about driving continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams.
\nThis is a key position within a well-established UK manufacturing business producing iconic consumer products supplied to major retailers and export markets.

- Monitoring performance metrics including efficiency, waste, and throughput \n
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across production lines \n
- Ensuring quality documentation and compliance records are accurate \n
- Leading shift handovers and operational briefings \n
- Developing and coaching team members to improve performance \n
- Maintaining plant readiness for audits and inspections \n
- Ensuring hygiene, safety, and operational standards are consistently met \n
