RTA / OIC Fee Earner – Liverpool

Salary: 25-35,000 Contract: Permanent Hours: Full Time

A law firm is seeking an experienced RTA / OIC Fee Earner to join its busy OIC Portal team in Liverpool. You’ll manage your own caseload of admitted and disputed OIC matters, progressing cases efficiently through the portal and issuing proceedings where required.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Manage OIC cases from start to finish
\n
• Review medical evidence and value tariff/non-tariff injuries
\n
• Assess losses, including credit hire
\n
• Draft witness statements and instructions to Counsel
\n
• Issue proceedings and comply with Small Claims Court directions
\n
• Handle liability-disputed matters and negotiate a settlement
\n

About You

\n
• Experience with MOJ or OIC Portal
\n
• Strong understanding of admitted and disputed cases
\n
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
\n
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
\n
