Management Accountant – Scunthorpe – Up to £37,000 We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international manufacturing business with a strong presence across the UK and Europe. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a busy site-based finance team. This role will take control of the management accounting for the 2 sites, delivering accurate analytical reporting and supporting operational decision-making through effective business partnering. You will be responsible for producing reliable financial information, maintaining strong balance sheet control and driving improvements across financial processes.Benefits:\n

Management Accountant Responsibilities:\n

\n
• Preparing accurate and timely month-end accounts, including detailed variance analysis and commentary
\n
• Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all variances are investigated
\n
• Partnering with central finance teams to analyse performance and provide meaningful financial insights
\n
• Producing regular reporting packs to support continuous improvement initiatives
\n
• Delivering weekly reporting requirements, including working capital and inventory reporting
\n
• Maintaining and develop strong financial controls and compliance
\n
• Develop detailed margin analysis, and partner the operational teams to drive efficiencies
\n
• Prepare weekly sales reporting
\n

Required Skills & Experience:\n

\n
• Actively studying early to mid stages CIMA or ACCA
\n
• Strong management accounts experience, ideally in manufacturing
\n
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
\n
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
\n
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
\n
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
\n
