We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to provide top-notch caretaking, cleaning, security, and facilities management services across high-rise residential buildings. This role is crucial in maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming communal areas and facilities, acting as a key point of contact for residents, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Cleaning and Building Maintenance: Maintain communal areas, buildings, and grounds to high standards. Conduct comprehensive cleaning and janitorial services, and carry out regular inspections to report any defects. \n
- Health, Safety, and Security: Manage daily building safety, perform risk assessments, and ensure all compliance checks are completed. Act as a key holder and conduct fire safety inspections and other safety checks. \n
- Repairs and Contractor Management: Report and monitor repair requests, liaise with contractors, and ensure maintenance works are completed timely and efficiently. \n
- Resident Services: Provide responsive and professional service to residents, handle enquiries, and promote community engagement initiatives. \n
- Estate and Environmental Management: Maintain waste disposal areas and support the upkeep of communal gardens and green spaces. \n
- Administrative Responsibilities: Keep accurate records of repairs, inspections, and compliance activities using relevant systems. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience in cleaning, caretaking, facilities management, or estate services. \n
- Strong understanding of health and safety responsibilities in a residential or public-facing environment. \n
- Skilled in conducting inspections and identifying maintenance, security, or safety issues. \n
- Excellent customer service and communication skills. \n
- Proficient in maintaining accurate records and using basic IT systems. \n
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload. \n
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle. \n
