Senior Credit Controller

A leading specialist insurance business is looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join its finance team. This role will see you managing a portfolio of broker accounts, driving cash collection, resolving account queries, and supporting ongoing process improvements within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage broker accounts and issue monthly statements.
\n
• Chase outstanding debt and build strong broker relationships.
\n
• Allocate cash, resolve unallocated funds, and complete reconciliations.
\n
• Escalate aged debt issues and provide regular reporting.
\n
• Chair stakeholder meetings to address credit control matters.
\n
• Identify process improvements and support continuous development initiatives.
\n
• Assist with audits and wider finance team activities.
\n

Requirements:

• Experience within an IBA, broking, MGA, or insurer environment.
\n
• Strong credit control and broker accounting knowledge.
\n
• Proven reconciliation experience.
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
\n
• Team leadership experience desirable.
\n
• Knowledge of Sequel Eclipse is advantageous.
\n
