Management Accountant

Location: Hybrid/FlexibleRate: Up to £195 per dayContract: Interim / TemporaryStart Date: Immediate

We are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a fast-paced retail business on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional who can hit the ground running and add value from day one.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within the retail sector, strong business partnering skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

• Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts
\n
• Prepare and analyse P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
\n
• Partner closely with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business
\n
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
\n
• Provide insightful analysis on sales, margins, stock, costs and business performance
\n
• Challenge and influence key stakeholders to drive financial performance
\n
• Assist with month-end and year-end processes
\n
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
\n
• Support ad hoc projects and commercial decision-making
\n

\n
• Previous Management Accountant experience within a retail environment is essential
\n
• Immediately available or available at short notice
\n
• Strong business partnering experience with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation
\n
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
\n
• Experience working in fast-paced, changing environments
\n
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems/ERP platforms
\n

• Daily rate of up to £195 per day
