Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Deputy Manager to join a luxury, purpose-built elderly care home in Chelmsford. This role offers the chance to work alongside an experienced General Manager within a high-end setting, supporting the delivery of exceptional person-centred care while leading and developing a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving quality, compliance, operational performance and resident satisfaction for a provider committed to delivering outstanding standards of care.
\n\n\nKey Responsibilities

- Support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the home. \n
- Support occupancy, customer experience and commercial performance. \n
- Lead, motivate and develop department heads and wider care teams. \n
- Ensure exceptional, person-centred care is delivered at all times. \n
- Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards. \n
- Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals. \n
- Assist with budget management, rota planning and resource allocation. \n
- Drive continuous improvement through coaching, supervision and performance management. \n
About You
\n- \n
- Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or senior management role within elderly care. \n
- Nurse with current NMC preferred but not essential. \n
- Strong leadership and people management skills. \n
- Sound understanding of CQC regulations and quality governance. \n
- Commercially aware with excellent organisational skills. \n
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and developing others. \n
