Management AccountantMansfield Up to £40,000 Permanent

We’re working with a well-established and growing organisation based in Mansfield to recruit a Commercial / Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to step into a commercially focused role with strong exposure to business partnering and financial planning.

Key responsibilities will include:

\n
• Reporting on overhead costs for designated departments, including preparation of monthly prepayments and accruals
\n
• Producing detailed departmental reports to support financial planning and performance analysis
\n
• Investigating and explaining variances between actuals and budget/forecast figures
\n
• Building strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders, acting as a business partner for financial queries
\n
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, including calculation of key figures across cost lines
\n
• Presenting monthly financial reports to senior finance stakeholders
\n
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations
\n
• Assisting with group and statutory audits
\n
• Supporting project work, including integration of new subsidiaries
\n
• Providing ad-hoc support to the wider UK finance team
\n

Person Specification:

\n
• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA
\n
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar finance role
\n
• Strong Excel and systems skills
\n
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business
\n
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
\n
