Our client, a well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice, is seeking an experienced Accounts Portfolio Manager to join their friendly and collaborative team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio within a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice. As an Accounts Portfolio Manager, you will deliver a broad range of accounting, tax, compliance, and advisory services while building long-term client relationships, managing your own portfolio with autonomy, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients and act as their main point of contact
\n
• Prepare and review year-end accounts and financial statements
\n
• Complete personal and corporate tax returns
\n
• Provide proactive accounting and tax advice
\n
• Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships
\n
• Manage workloads to ensure deadlines and compliance are met
\n
• Review work produced by junior team members
\n
• Mentor and support the development of junior colleagues
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
\n
• Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the practice
\n

The candidate:

\n
• ACA or ACCA qualified with accountancy practice experience
\n
• Proven experience managing a client portfolio independently
\n
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and UK tax compliance
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
\n
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage workloads autonomously
\n
