The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Redditch that is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to support its finance function and continued growth.

This role is ideal for an ambitious finance professional with experience in a manufacturing environment who is looking to further develop their career within a commercially focused business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
\n
• Deliver variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on business performance.
\n
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
\n
• Analyse manufacturing costs, stock movements, and operational KPIs.
\n
• Support cost control and profitability improvement initiatives.
\n
• Work closely with operational teams to provide financial guidance and support.
\n
• Maintain accurate financial data within MRP/MRM or ERP systems.
\n
• Assist with year-end accounts and audit preparation.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
\n

Requirements

\n
• AAT Level 4 qualified.
\n
• Currently studying towards a professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
\n
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
\n
• Experience using MRP/MRM or ERP systems.
\n
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
\n
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
\n
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
\n
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop.
\n
