Finance Analyst

Executive Talent Solutions are working with a leading Business Services group to recruit a Finance Analyst.

The business is a market leader in their field, with a fantastic range of products and innovative services. Their growth over the past 18 months has created a new position for a Finance Analyst.

The successful Finance Analyst will report directly to the FD and have responsibility for commercial accounting and business partnering.

The role offers a base salary up to £60k plus excellent benefits and the opportunity for career progression. Hybrid working after probation is offered. The office is based in Rainham, Essex.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance.

• Manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational goals.
\n
• Develop rolling forecasts to provide updated financial projections.
\n
• Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
\n
• Analyze financial results, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
\n
• Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modelling.
\n
• Prepare and present regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
\n
• Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
\n
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with relevant standards.
\n
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
\n
• Leverage financial software and tools to streamline reporting and analysis processes.
\n
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning and decision making.
\n
• Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate the financial impact of various business decisions.
\n
• Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and strategies.
\n

Candidates applying should be either part-qualified, finalist or qualified with relevant commercial accounting skills and strong systems experience.
