Job Role of the Electrical Shift Engineer\nA rare opportunity has become available for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer at their highly automated production facility. Following significant investment into the site, including the introduction of advanced automation and robotic technology, this is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working with modern manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.
\nAs an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and planned preventative maintenance across a range of automated production machinery. You will play a key role in maximising equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Shift Engineer\n- \n

Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.

Hands-on experience with planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and breakdown response.
\n - \n
Ability to work independently and confidently manage workloads on shift.
\n

Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
\n - \n
NVQ Level 2 or above in an Engineering discipline.
\n - \n
Experience with PLC fault finding.
\n - \n
Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, inverters, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and automated machinery.
\n - \n
Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
\n

Working for a market-leading manufacturing business.

Competitive salary of £44,000 - £46,000 including shift allowance.
