We're recruiting for an ambitious and rapidly expanding accountancy firm that is looking to add experienced Accountants to its growing team. The business is experiencing significant growth and is seeking individuals who can combine strong technical accounting skills with excellent relationship-building abilities.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for their accounting needs.
\n
• Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements.
\n
• Manage client portfolios and build long-term relationships.
\n
• Handle VAT returns and year-end accounting processes.
\n
• Ensure corporation tax compliance and meet HMRC requirements.
\n
• Review bookkeeping records and reconciliations.
\n
• Provide clients with financial insight and commercial advice.
\n
• Work with cloud accounting software including FreeAgent, Xero, and similar systems.
\n
• Support process improvements and business growth initiatives.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• 2–5 years' experience within an accountancy practice environment.
\n
• Part-qualified AAT or ACCA status, or only a small number of exams remaining.
\n
• Experience managing or assisting with client portfolios.
\n
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
\n
• A proactive mindset and desire to continue learning and developing.
\n
• The confidence to work directly with clients and build trusted partnerships.
\n
