Lead High-Quality Specialist Services Across Birmingham and Coventry

We are seeking an experienced and driven Dual CQC Registered Manager to oversee two specialist supported living/residential services supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Complex Needs, Behaviours of Concern, and Forensic Histories.

\n

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care while maintaining full regulatory compliance and driving operational excellence across multiple locations.

About the Role

\n

As the Dual Registered Manager, you will have responsibility for the effective management and performance of two services, ensuring safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led support in line with CQC standards.

\n

You will lead and inspire your teams to achieve positive outcomes for individuals with highly complex needs, promoting independence, choice, dignity and community integration.

\n

The role is primarily based in Birmingham, with regular travel required to services in Coventry.

\n

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold CQC registration for two services and maintain full regulatory compliance.
  • \n
  • Lead, develop and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • \n
  • Ensure excellent standards of person-centred support are consistently delivered.
  • \n
  • Manage services supporting individuals with:\n
      \n
    • Learning Disabilities
    • \n
    • Autism
    • \n
    • Complex behaviours that challenge
    • \n
    • Mental health needs
    • \n
    • Forensic backgrounds
    • \n
  • \n
  • Drive occupancy, service performance and quality improvement plans.
  • \n
  • Lead safeguarding investigations and risk management processes.
  • \n
  • Ensure robust recruitment, supervision, appraisal and staff development.
  • \n
  • Monitor budgets and financial performance of services.
  • \n
  • Maintain positive relationships with commissioners, families, professionals and stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Prepare for and lead CQC inspections and local authority audits.
  • \n

About You

\n

We are looking for a confident and experienced Registered Manager who can demonstrate:

\n

Essential

\n
    \n
  • Current or previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager.
  • \n
  • Proven experience managing services for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
  • \n
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours and forensic histories.
  • \n
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality frameworks.
  • \n
  • Experience managing multiple services or large teams.
  • \n
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • \n
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between locations.
  • \n

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • \n
  • Experience within specialist forensic or challenging behaviour services.
  • \n
  • History of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC ratings.
  • \n
\n
