Reach Truck Driver

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Reach Truck Drivers to join a busy logistics and distribution warehouse in Darlington.

We are initially looking to recruit 2 candidates, with the potential for this to increase to 4 positions.

  Drivers who hold a current Reach Truck licence.

  Experienced Reach Truck Drivers whose licence has expired.

\n

A one-day refresher assessment and training course will be provided for all new starters to assess operating standards before commencing work.

You will work approximately 35 hours per week on a 5 days over 7 rota, working one weekend on and one weekend off.

We have the following shifts available:

Morning Shift

  5:00am - approximately 12:00pm (finish time may vary depending on workload)

\n

Afternoon Shift

\n

  12:00pm - approximately 7:00pm (finish time may vary depending on workload)

\n

• \n

  Safely operate a Reach Truck to move stock throughout the warehouse.

\n
• \n

  Load, unload and transport goods efficiently.

\n
• \n

  Pick, replenish and relocate stock as required.

\n
• \n

  Carry out daily equipment safety checks.

\n
• \n

  Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

\n
• \n

  Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

\n
• \n

  Support the wider warehouse operation when required.

\n

• \n

  Previous Reach Truck driving experience is essential.

\n
• \n

  A current Reach Truck licence is preferred; however, candidates with an expired licence are encouraged to apply.

\n
• \n

  Good understanding of warehouse health and safety.

\n
• \n

  Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering high standards.

\n
• \n

  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

\n
• \n

  Flexibility to work a 5 over 7 shift pattern, including alternate weekends.

\n

  £14.58 per hour

\n
• \n

  Ongoing, long-term work.

\n
• \n

  Full refresher training and assessment provided where required.
