Position: Production Coordinator / Production Planner / Production Manager
\nSalary: £45,000 to £53,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including bonus, life assurance and pension
\nHours: Monday – Friday, Early Starts & Early Finishes
\nLocation: Commutable from Guildford, Farnham, Camberley, Bracknell, Aldershot, Farnborough and surrounding areas

\n\nA well-established and growing precision engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced Production Coordinator / Production Planner to join its leadership team.
\n\nOperating within a modern CNC machining environment, this business supplies high-quality precision engineered components to demanding industries and is continuing to invest in both its people and manufacturing capabilities.
\n\nThis is a senior-level position that will suit an organised and proactive manufacturing professional who enjoys coordinating production activities, managing priorities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across a busy shopfloor environment.
\n\nYou will play a key role in supporting Production Management by removing administrative burden from technical teams, coordinating people and resources, and ensuring production activities align with Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (QSDC) objectives.
\n\nResponsibilities
\n\nThe Production Coordinator / Production Planner will be responsible for:
\n\nCoordinating day-to-day production activities across the shopfloor to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
\nSupporting Production Management with workforce planning, attendance management, overtime coordination and resource allocation.
\nMonitoring and tracking Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (QSDC) performance.
\nCoordinating training requirements and maintaining training records and competency matrices.
\nSupporting maintenance planning, equipment breakdown escalation and TPM activities.
\nManaging production priorities and removing barriers that may impact operational performance.
\nSupporting continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing activities.
\nTracking and coordinating corrective actions, improvement projects and production-related issues.
\nEnsuring availability of tooling, consumables and other production resources.
\nMaintaining high standards of workplace organisation, 5S and Health & Safety compliance.
\nLiaising with multiple departments to ensure effective communication and operational efficiency.
\n\nRequirements
\n\nPrevious experience within a CNC machining or precision engineering manufacturing environment is essential.
\nExperience within a Production Coordinator, Production Planner, Production Supervisor, Team Leader or similar manufacturing role.
\nStrong organisational, planning and administrative skills.
\nGood understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
\nExperience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office packages.
\nStrong communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities.
\nComfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
\nProactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
