Paraplanner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning team based in Central Manchester.

This role is ideal for a career Paraplanner who holds the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum) and has at least five years' paraplanning experience. Working closely with Financial Advisers, you'll provide high-quality technical support by preparing suitability reports, conducting research, analysing client information and helping deliver tailored financial planning solutions.

• Prepare high-quality suitability reports and supporting documentation.
\n
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection products.
\n
• Analyse client financial information to support financial planning recommendations.
\n
• Prepare client review packs and presentation documents.
\n
• Liaise with providers and third parties to obtain policy information.
\n
• Process new business and support ongoing client servicing.
\n
• Maintain accurate client records and update CRM systems.
\n
• Schedule meetings and manage client correspondence.
\n
• Ensure all work is completed in line with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures.
\n
• Work closely with Financial Advisers to deliver an outstanding client experience.
\n
• Contribute to improving internal processes and efficiencies.
\n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) – essential
\n
• A minimum of five years' experience as a Paraplanner
\n
• Strong technical knowledge of financial planning
\n
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills
\n
• Experience within a financial planning or wealth management environment
\n
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
\n
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
\n
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
\n
