Maintenance Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical

Witham | £35,000 PA | Mon-Fri 7am-16:30 | Permanent Our client is a leading UK manufacturer, delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions to major projects across the UK and Europe.

Due to continued growth and investment, they are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at their modern manufacturing facility in Witham, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Provide maintenance support to production teams
\n
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
\n
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation faults
\n
• Fault find on industrial machinery and equipment
\n
• Assist with dismantling and reassembly of production equipment
\n
• Carry out improvement works and scheduled maintenance activities
\n
• Ensure machinery operates at maximum efficiency
\n
• Call outs – Rotated within the team
\n
• Some weekend working is required when there is machine downtime
\n

Candidate Requirements:

\n
• Experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
\n
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing/production environment
\n
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
\n
• Mechanical maintenance experience
\n
• Knowledge of PLCs would be an advantage
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Flexible approach to support operational requirements
\n

Qualifications:

Ideally you will hold one or more of the following:

\n
• Level 3 Diploma / NVQ Level 3 / HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
\n
• 18th Edition qualification
\n
• City & Guilds 2382
\n

\n
• Full clean driving licence
\n
