Senior Fund Controller - Real Estate

We are hiring a Senior Fund Controller (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract) for a leading pan-European real estate investment management business.

Managing a portfolio of real estate funds, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing fund finance activities across complex cross-border investment structures, partnering closely with Portfolio Management, Tax & Treasury, Investor Relations and external service providers.

Responsibilities of this Senior Fund Controller opportunity include:

• Ownership of the financial management and reporting for a portfolio of real estate funds
\n
• Leading the finance workstream on acquisitions and disposals, including transaction structuring, financial due diligence and financing
\n
• Reviewing outsourced quarterly and annual financial reporting, including consolidated accounts, NAV calculations and investor reporting
\n
• Managing relationships with fund administrators, auditors, tax advisers and other third-party service providers
\n
• Supporting investor reporting, presentations and responding to investor queries
\n
• Working alongside Treasury on cash management, debt facilities, covenant reporting and cash forecasting
\n
• Overseeing tax compliance, corporate governance and statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

We're keen to speak with Fund Controllers who are available on short notice and who can demonstrate:

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with relevant post-qualified experience
\n
• Strong real estate investment management or property investment experience
\n
• Experience reviewing outsourced fund accounting and statutory reporting
\n
• Exposure to acquisitions, debt financing and complex investment structures
\n
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work directly with senior internal stakeholders, investors and external advisers.
