\nSalary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE + Overtime Available
\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent
\nThe Role
\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established and growing precision engineering company. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern CNC machinery, producing high-quality components for a range of industries including aerospace, oil & gas, automotive, and general engineering.
\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating and ideally programming CNC milling machines to manufacture components to exact customer specifications.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Set and operate CNC milling machines. \n
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. \n
- Carry out tool changes and machine offsets. \n
- Inspect components using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges. \n
- Ensure components meet quality standards and tolerances. \n
- Conduct basic machine maintenance and housekeeping duties. \n
- Work efficiently to achieve production targets while maintaining quality. \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Previous experience operating and setting CNC milling machines. \n
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. \n
- Experience working to tight tolerances. \n
- Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens or Haas controls is advantageous. \n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
Desirable Skills
\n- \n
- Offline or online programming experience. \n
- Experience with 3, 4 or 5-axis machining. \n
- Apprenticeship or engineering qualification. \n
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software. \n
