The Role

Based in their Ipswich Head Office, you’ll receive full support and structured training, working alongside experienced professionals to build your skills. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing year-end accounts
\n
• Assisting with corporation tax and self-assessment
\n
• Bookkeeping and VAT returns
\n
• Preparing working papers and schedules
\n
• Liaising with clients
\n
• Supporting Account Managers
\n
• Using cloud software such as Xero
\n

About You

Essential:

\n
• Experience in an accountancy practice
\n
• AAT qualified or studying
\n
• Strong bookkeeping knowledge
\n
• Experience with accounts and/or tax
\n
• High attention to detail
\n
• Strong communication and organisation skills
\n
• Positive, proactive attitude
\n

Desirable:

\n
• Experience with Xero
\n
• Exposure to limited company accounts and tax
\n
• Client-facing experience
\n
• Ambition to study ACCA or ACA, or currently studying
\n
