What You'll Be Doing\nNo two days are the same, but your mission remains constant: creating a safe, empowering environment for children and young people with complex needs and emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD).

Champion Independence: Mentor residents through daily routines and coach them on essential life skills.

Lead with Empathy: Diffuse challenging situations using calm, trauma-informed, and professional de-escalation techniques.

Deliver Holistic Support: Follow tailored care plans to ensure top-tier safeguarding and emotional wellbeing.

The Right Experience: You must have proven experience working with children and young people with complex needs/challenging behaviours within a formal residential care environment.

The Wheels: A full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle is required to reach various services across the Southampton area.
