HGV Class 2 Driver - Multi Drop

Do you hold a valid Class 2 HGV Licence and looking for a new challenge?Here at TradeChoice Carpet and Flooring we are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to support our busy warehouse helping to transport stock to our branches. You will be responsible for performing multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently and on schedule. Key responsibilities \n

\n
• Oversee the loading and unloading of the HGV to ensure it is conducted correctly and safely.
\n
• Conduct quality checks upon delivery and obtain customer signatures as proof of receipt.
\n
• Maintain full compliance with tachograph legislation and relevant safety regulations.
\n
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and free from preventable damage.
\n
• Report any accidents or incidents immediately, following company procedures.
\n
• Complete and submit daily vehicle inspection sheets to the Operations Manager.
\n
• Take proactive responsibility for vehicle servicing, MOT scheduling, and inspections.
\n
• Provide assistance in the warehouse as needed.
\n

Key skills \n

\n
• Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record.
\n
• Valid Driver CPC
\n
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
\n
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
\n
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
\n
