Working within a friendly, collaborative and down-to-earth small team of around 10 employees, you will be at the heart of the business, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of an impressive Grade II listed building and providing an exceptional workplace experience for both employees and tenants.The business is looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, proactive and highly organised, with the confidence to manage facilities, people and relationships across the office environment. - Oversee the daily management and smooth running of the office and building facilities \n
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants occupying the sublet office floors \n
- Manage tenant enquiries, building-related issues and service requests professionally and efficiently \n
- Coordinate building maintenance, repairs and contractor visits \n
- Liaise with landlords, suppliers, contractors and external service providers \n
- Ensure health and safety standards and compliance requirements are maintained \n
- Manage and support the Receptionist and two Housekeeping staff members \n
- Monitor office supplies, services and facilities budgets \n
- Coordinate office projects and improvements where required \n
- Ensure all office spaces remain professional, welcoming and operational at all times \n
- Provide practical support to the wider team and contribute to a positive office culture \n

- Previous experience as an Office Manager or similar office operations role \n
- Strong experience managing office facilities and building-related services \n
- Confident handling supplier, contractor and tenant relationships \n
- Experience supervising or managing support staff \n
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks \n
- Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner \n
- Practical problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach \n
- Comfortable working in a fully office-based environment \n
- Experience within professional services, investment management, asset management or similar sectors would be advantageous but is not essential \n

- Salary of £40,000 \n
- Four-day working week with no reduction in salary \n
- Working hours of approximately 8:30am to 4:30pm/5:00pm \n
