Job Description

Right Now Group are currently recruiting for a Junior Sales Administrator to join a well-established logistics and freight forwarding business based in the Heathrow area. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented individual to support the sales team, ensuring customer enquiries, quotations, and sales administration activities are handled efficiently and professionally.

Position: Junior Sales AdministratorLocation: HeathrowHours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities for a Junior Sales Administrator:\n

  • Assist in generating and following up on sales leads to support business growth.
  • \n
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels.
  • \n
  • Prepare and issue quotations, proposals, and sales-related documentation.
  • \n
  • Support the sales team with order processing and customer account management.
  • \n
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • \n
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable services where appropriate.
  • \n
  • Handle customer queries and escalate issues to the relevant department when necessary.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate customer records, orders, and sales activity within the CRM system.
  • \n
  • Produce regular reports on sales activity, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • \n
  • Assist with market research and identify potential opportunities for business development.
  • \n
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider sales function.

Key Skills for a Junior Sales Administrator:\n

  • Previous experience within a sales support, administration, customer service, or office-based role is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience using CRM systems would be beneficial.
