An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Finance Manager to join a growing and fast-paced business. This is a hands-on role offering broad responsibility across financial reporting, compliance, process improvement and business partnering.

\n

You will take ownership of the month-end and year-end close, lead the audit process, and work closely with stakeholders across the business to support commercial and operational decision-making.

\n

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the month-end and annual financial close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • \n
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior leadership.
  • \n
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and oversee intercompany allocations.
  • \n
  • Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and coordinate the annual audit process.
  • \n
  • Oversee VAT returns and corporate tax compliance, working alongside external tax advisors.
  • \n
  • Manage and improve the aged debt collection process.
  • \n
  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through automation and system enhancements.
  • \n
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial support across the business.
  • \n
  • Assist with day-to-day transactional finance activities when required.
  • \n

About You

\n

\n

You will be a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is keen to drive continuous improvement.

\n

\n

Essential Requirements

\n

\n
    \n
  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • \n
  • Minimum of three years' post-qualified experience (PQE).
  • \n
  • Strong financial accounting and reporting experience with a solid understanding of FRS 102.
  • \n
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and simplify complex financial data.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • \n
  • Able to prioritise effectively and adapt within a fast-paced environment.
  • \n

  • Practice trained
  • \n
  • Experience within IT, technology, cyber security, consultancy or a similar professional services environment.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of Xero and Syft.
  • \n
\n
