Financial Adviser – Fully Qualified

Derby | Full-Time | Flexitime

£40,000–£55,000 basic + uncapped commission

Warm client bank from day one

A well-established FCA-authorised financial planning firm in Derby is seeking a fully qualified Financial Adviser to take ownership of a substantial existing client bank. This is a genuine advice role - no cold calling, no self-generation, and no network fees. You will be generating revenue from your first week.

Salary & Earnings

  • £40,000–£55,000 basic salary, depending on experience

  • Uncapped commission, structured as:\n
      \n
    • 10% on existing ongoing client business
    • \n
    • 20% on new business initial fees
    • \n

  • Strong and immediate earning potential from an active client base
  • \n

Client Bank

  • Will work on an existing client bank
  • \n
  • Established review opportunities
  • \n
  • Significant untapped potential across pensions, investments, protection, and mortgages

  • Strong appetite for the adviser to develop household relationships and increase overall client value

The Role

You will deliver full-scope regulated financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, and mortgages. The firm’s systems, processes, and support model enable advisers to work efficiently, compliantly, and profitably.

Core responsibilities:

  • Conduct client review meetings and identify advice opportunities
  • \n
  • Provide holistic financial advice across the full product range
  • \n
  • Manage cases end-to-end from meeting to implementation
  • \n
  • Develop new business organically from the existing client base
  • \n
  • Build long-term, trusted client relationships
  • \n

As your production grows, the firm will invest in support to protect your capacity and performance.

Work Pattern & Flexibility

Initial working pattern:

  • Office-based (5 days per week)
  • \n
  • Purpose: full integration, training, cultural alignment, and ensuring consistent quality of output
  • \n
  • Work-from-home flexibility available, subject to:\n

    • Performance

    • Adviser confidence
    • \n
    • Suitability for remote working

What You Need

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • \n
  • Competent and authorised to provide regulated advice in the UK
  • \n
  • Confident with clients and commercially sharp
  • \n
  • Organised, self-sufficient, and motivated by performance-linked earnings
  • \n
  • Able to demonstrate:\n
      \n
    • Revenue generated in the last 12 months
    • \n
    • New business personally introduced
    • \n
    • Consistent outbound activity (calls, pipeline creation)
    • \n
