Owen Daniels are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join a growing and dynamic engineering organisation delivering HV infrastructure and electrical network projects across.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and safety-focused HV professional with strong operational experience within electrical transmission, distribution, or critical infrastructure environments.Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Operate as a Senior Authorised Person on HV electrical systems.
\n
• Carry out switching, isolation, sanctioning and permitting activities in accordance with company safety rules.
\n
• Manage and supervise HV works on substations, power distribution and network infrastructure projects.
\n
• Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with industry regulations.
\n
• Support commissioning, maintenance and fault response activities.
\n
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and site teams.
\n
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
\n

Essential Requirements\n

\n
• Current Senior Authorised Person (SAP) qualification / authorisation.
\n
• Proven experience working on HV systems up to 11kV, 33kV, 66kV or above.
\n
• Strong understanding of electrical safety rules and operational procedures.
\n
• Relevant electrical qualifications such as:
\n
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical
\n
• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (desirable)
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence.
\n
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
\n
